Bernic Training
Our training facility at Bernic is recognised by several Awarding Bodies, where we are an Approved Centre for Edexcel, Skills for Security (the old SITO) and NCFE.
We train security guards to the required Level 2 Award in Door Supervision / Static & Mobile Guarding / Vehicle Immobilisation - all of these awards include Conflict Management. (As a spin off of the Vehicle Immobilisation, we also offer Civil Ticketing on private land.)
Security Vetting is a new course we are now able to offer. A big growth opportunity is in CCTV in Public Space - a course we can now offer!
We also offer the full 4 day First Aid at Work Course, as well as the two day refresher course, and the one day “Appointed Person” First Aid Course.
Extra courses we offer include Assisted Training for the CSCS Card, (now required to gain access to almost every building / construction site) - the cost includes as much training as is needed to pass the test! - with free training for any re-sits!
We also offer our own courses in Safe Movement of Vehicles on and off Construction Sites, and Fire Marshalling.
In our quest for the continued professional development of all our learners, we can now offer the NCFE Level Two Course in Event Stewarding - also we can offer NCFE Level Two Certificate in Safer Moving & Handling (including People) - we can also offer NCFE Level Two Certificate in Drug Awareness Studies & their Applications - and we can offer the NCFE Level Two Certificate in Health & Safety at Work, as well as the Level 2 Award in Dementia Awareness.
We are continually looking to keep up to date with our courses, and are now looking to expand our interests in Close Protection, Asset Protection, and Terrorism Awareness.
